Project Management Planning

Under the Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994, a mining operator must have an approved project management plan (PMP) in place before any construction or mining operations commence, or when recommencing underground or opencut mining applications. The PMP is part of an appropriate site-specific occupational health and safety management system and protects the safety of workers and the viability of an operation (https://www.dmp.wa.gov.au/Safety/What-is-a-project-management-7246.aspx). It considers the risks associated with the various stages of the operation’s life cycle and identifies potential major risks of the proposed operations and acts as a starting point for developing ongoing strategies to manage those risks.

As safety and risk management experts in mining and construction, RECEO offers consulting to develop project management plans for your construction or mining operations project.
