Nationally Recognised Training Provider
Individuals working in the resources, construction and utilities service industries need to develop a precise set of skills, knowledge and behaviours to conduct safe work practices. Training by a regulated provider ensures that your team is kept up to date on the latest methods to enhance the safety of your workplace.
RECEO is a Registered Training Organisation (No. 51786) regulated by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). We provide Nationally Recognised Training, including qualifications within the Australian Qualifications Framework, as well as dedicated Industry Workplace Training and Industry Technical Training. All of RECEO’s training is tailored to the needs of your organisation and delivered according to our Code of Practice (link).
Emergency Response Training Experts
Our core competency and reputation is based on our expertise in emergency response training, ranging from medical and patient care through emergency preparation and preparedness, security, firefighting and mine rescue and recovery.
As an external emergency management training provider, we ensure we are always bringing the highest standard of current qualifications to our clients in Australia and globally.
Our Industry-focused Syllabus
RECEO promotes effective skill and technology transfer to learners by basing our training on a mix of practical skills and theory. Our tailored training programs have been developed in close consultation with the mining and resources industries to ensure it is industry-led and responsive. Technology topics are risk-assessed and validated by industry bodies and subject matter experts.
While it is often possible to customise training around Australian nationally recognised units of competency, we can also tailor a course around your industry need without it being nationally accredited. Our training can often be delivered in a flexible format, designed around the realities of a busy workplace.
Our Qualified Trainers
All RECEO trainers hold a current TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment[SG1] , ensuring they are certified to deliver and assess training. In addition, our trainers are selected for their real-world industry experience, so that learners benefit from their practical application of knowledge. In addition to their fields of expertise, our trainers are excellent communicators with robust interpersonal and instructional skills, professional behaviour and high levels of personal responsibility.
RECEO offers a range of training delivery including onsite and Blended Training. Blended Training combines hands-on skills training with practical assessments, conducted in a simulated workplace and supported by our immersive E-Learning tools.
Following completion of national recognised training courses, RECEO will provide a detailed course report with observations of each student and a validation exercise to ensure all critical aspects of evidence have been met. This report, accompanied by the Statements of Attainment leading to the qualification, is evidence of the application of the course requirements to individual worksites and confirms regulatory compliance.
Unique Student Identifier
Students undertaking Nationally Recognised Training must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI), a reference number that creates an online record of your training and qualifications attained in Australia.
Students who do not have an existing USI have two options for obtaining one: apply directly for the USI https://www.usi.gov.au/ and notify RECEO of this number when enrolling; or having RECEO apply for the USI on your behalf. For the second option, students must supply copies of two forms of identification from the list below at enrolment.
- Driver’s Licence

- Citizenship Certificate
You will also be required to read and sign the USI Privacy Notice to allow RECEO to process your application.
