These handled ascenders have a large opening so they can be comfortably used with or without gloves. The cam opening lever is easily used with one hand.

The handles are padded with a textured rubber compound which is comfortable but firm, providing a non-slip grip. The teeth are designed to minimise rope wear but are equally effective in locking or ascending the rope. Three slots prevent the accumulation of dirt and mud. Two attachment holes provide possible anti-inversion cam system or additional connection points.
